An online marketplace for new and pre-loved books. Readers can browse and buy at fair prices, and anyone can list the books on their shelf for sale in a couple of minutes.
Problem
Second-hand books are usually sold through classifieds and chat groups where search is weak, pricing is inconsistent, and buyers can't easily compare a used copy with a new one.
Why I built it
To build a complete, realistic e-commerce product end to end, covering catalog and search, a cart, checkout and seller listings, rather than an isolated demo feature.
Solution
A single marketplace where new and pre-loved listings live side by side. It has category browsing with live counts, search by title, author or ISBN, condition and discount badges, rich book detail pages with delivery estimates and seller info, a cart, a wishlist and a sell flow for listing your own books.

Features
- New and pre-loved in one catalog. Every listing shows its condition (e.g. Like new, Pre-loved) and its discount off the list price.
- Search and browse. Search by title, author or ISBN, plus a category bar and sidebar (Fiction, Self-Help, Business & Money, Technology and more) with live listing counts.
- Book detail pages. Price and savings breakdown, estimated delivery date, seller info, stock status, and a per-order quantity limit.
- Cart, wishlist and checkout. Add to cart, buy now, or save for later, with free delivery above a threshold and cash on delivery.
- Sell your books. Signed-in users can list books from their own shelf and show up as the seller on the listing.
